Deirdre O'Brien is an illustrator from coastal Maine, and their work has been greatly influenced by growing up in a place so steeped in nautical history, ghost stories, and mossy forest floors. They delight in the whimsical, the fantastical, and the slightly weird.
Using watercolor, gouache, digital, colored pencils, and a variety of other media, they create art that reflects their fondness for fantasy stories, vibrant colors, and the ever-changing seasons of nature.
